Learn from my mistakes: My top 3 start-up failures

Have you Ever wondered why some side hustles fail? Well, from my personal experience It is not always about what you do right, sometimes it is about what you do wrong.

Get ready for a Bombshell: I have personally tried and failed at many sides hustles.

Yes, that's right, even after completing a degree in computing and a second degree in MBA and

having worked in various industries and sectors including IT, Energy, waste management, Telecoms, and the health sector.

Without wasting much of your reading time, Let's get straight into my top three personal side hustle failures.

1. My failure to recognize existing problems. It is important for you to have a clear understanding of the issues. Always remember that Ignorance is never bliss in business.

2. My Failure to conduct thorough research and planning. I thought a good idea was enough to succeed. It was not. Without a detailed plan and comprehensive research, my 1st side hustle of selling my own products was a huge flop.

3. My Failure to develop solutions that resonate with real people. You may have a great solution, but if it does not resonate with your target audience you will struggle. Always remember to design with the end user in mind

Remember, it's not about avoiding failure, but learning from it. Please can you do me a huge favour and Join the conversation and share your thoughts: What's one lesson you've learned from your start-up setback?
